About Me

I am a Miami native, born at Baptist Hospital! I am a Palmetto Senior High graduate and a Florida Gator 😊.
I moved to Boston where I earned a Master's in Business Administration and where I froze!!! After five years, I decided I missed both my family and Miami so I returned with my new husband, and have been living in Miami ever since. I have two children and a grand-dog, and still love living in the Miami area.
My Background
My Passion
I have always enjoyed working with and being around our youth. Aside from tutoring my own children in math (whiteboard and all) I spent many years volunteering within our school community from lunch bunch to raising money for Assistants for Classroom Teachers. I also was a substitute teacher for a few years and found my favorite time of day was when it came to math time!

During my time as a Director at the University of Miami, I loved working with students and helping them troubleshoot whatever challenges they were experiencing, from academic issues to being homesick, to anything in-between. While my goal at the time was to increase retention, my personal goal was also to ensure our students were on track to succeed.
